We at W H Fisher & Associates, PA take pride in our qualifications on properly investigating any type of Heavy Equipment Claim. It may be a over the road commercial auto claim involving a tractor-trailer and cargo and it may involve possible subrogation and an on-scene investigation involving the liability aspect of the claim. We can interview anyone involved in the possible claim if needed and secure witness statements when needed and do on-scene inspections for liability investigations.
We can also handle the liability portion of the claim as far as the property damage but we do not get involved with the casualty portion of the liability claim as we are not bodily injury adjusters.
Our expertise includes determining the possible origin and cause of fire damage to over the road and off road equipment and we have access to a number of outside qualified origin and cause experts and engineers that can be essential in determining these causes for possible subrogation and any other causes that may determine the involvement of claims dollars.
We do complete crane loss investigations to determine the exact position of the crane when the loss occurred in case there are any coverage limits involved in the lifting activity of the crane when the accident occurs. If we are notified in time, most of the time we can determine the position of the crane at the time of the accident to relate this to the load chart for possible over lifting situations.
Of course, we will handle the investigation of these claims as requested by the customer and will furnish the customer with the specific information they request.
